Doug brings more than 29 years of mortgage and commercial banking experience to ViewPoint Bankers Mortgage. As SVP/Central Texas Area Manager, his responsibilities include residential and commercial mortgage origination, industry professional education and community outreach.

Prior to joining ViewPoint, Doug served as the chief regional executive for the nation’s largest mortgage company, overseeing that company’s largest territory with over 50 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

He has been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as three-year top-ranked mortgage executive in Central Texas.

He currently serves as 2010 President of Austin Mortgage Bankers Association, maintains affiliate memberships with the local chapters of the National Association of Realtors^® and the National Association of Homebuilders, and is Board-certified by the Texas Veterans Housing Assistance Program.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from California State University, Long Beach. He is a 15-year resident of Cedar Park, where he lives with his wife Diane and three children. Personal interests include travel and many outdoor sports. He is an Eagle Scout.
